Fundacja Cooperacja is a Polish non-profit organisation based in Leszno, working locally and internationally to promote social inclusion, active citizenship, intercultural dialogue and equal access to education and culture. A key area of our expertise is the integration and empowerment of people with migrant and refugee experience. We develop practical initiatives combining language learning, cultural orientation, access to reliable information, community activities and opportunities to build relationships with local residents. We pay particular attention to people facing barriers to participation, including migrants, refugees, young people with fewer opportunities and people living in smaller towns and rural areas. Our work also focuses on youth and civic participation, human rights and EU values, non-formal education, well-being, culture and heritage, and community development. We create spaces for meaningful dialogue between young people, citizens, NGOs, public institutions and local authorities, helping participants move from learning and discussion to concrete community action. Fundacja Cooperacja has extensive experience in European cooperation, including Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps projects as both beneficiary and partner. Our team combines long-term expertise in international project coordination, non-formal education, migrant integration, youth work, public administration, communication, culture and well-being. As an Erasmus+ partner, we can contribute to project development and implementation, local research and needs assessment, recruitment and engagement of target groups, workshops and training, piloting of educational methods and materials, dissemination, stakeholder cooperation and sustainability of project results. We have experience creating practical and transferable outputs such as toolkits, educational games, learning scenarios, recommendations, publications and audiovisual materials. We cooperate with NGOs, schools, municipalities, cultural institutions, social services, educators, youth workers and community groups. We value partnerships based on clear communication, shared responsibility and practical impact. We are particularly interested in European projects related to migration and inclusion, active citizenship and democracy, youth participation, adult education, human rights and EU values, well-being, culture, community development and innovative non-formal education. Our motto, “We open minds, we abolish borders”, reflects our ambition to connect people, communities and organisations across Europe and turn international cooperation into meaningful local change.
