S.E.G.M.E.N.T.

The role of the S.E.G.M.E.N.T. non-profit organization is to encourage creativity of youth by activities that will lead to empower youngsters and make them feel they can change the world they live in. We do this by focusing on the physical education and sport in order to develop the responsibility for the future of the children that we work with. Most important we create the meaning in which they get a role as European citizens, involved in increasing the awareness of the way we can build a better society. Last but not least, we wish to promote the right to a healthy lifestyle through physical activities, to strengthen the solidarity and to promote tolerance among youth, especially to promote the social cohesion in the European Union. Our objectives: 1. Emancipation and Responsibility of youth, increasing the social, cultural and urban mobility. 2. Stimulating social solidarity involving in common actions/activities the groups that come from different social environments 3. Increasing the implication of youth promoting a healthy lifestyle, through constant sport activities 4. Promoting non-formal education and stimulating those who supervise the social shelters to conceive and apply their own non-formal education projects, inspired by the methods of our association
