Activities in the Mary center: 1. Tutoring program: all school subjects, 2. Computer programs: Windows, Linux, office programs, design programs, social programs… 3. Languages: Azerbaijani, Russian, English, German, Italian… 4. Vocational courses (duration three month): Plumber, electrician, welder, hairdresser, tailor, computer design… 5. Personal development trainings: time management, basic accounting, how to write CV, how to get through interview, family accounting, life skills, healthy living… 6. Free time activities: Summer camps, trips, workshops, entertainment activities, guitar lessons, dancing, table tennis, football, volleyball, biking, watching movies and discussion about them… There is a coordinator for each of these areas. Director and coordinators motivate students for participation on planning and managing all activities which are run in the Mary center. Together with teachers they try to improve our work with creative and innovating ideas. Children’s parents are invited to take part in voluntary work as well. Program during school year: - From Tuesdays to Saturdays 10.00 - 20.00: lessons, trainings, conversations, vocational trainings, - Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays 18.00 - 20.00: youth program, some discussion, workshops, sports, creative and educational free time activities - Saturdays 12.00 - 17.00: program for children, mainly workshops, games, sport tournaments, - weekly meeting of all coordinators to prepare a program for the week, then coordinators do the separate meeting with people who are in their care. - Sundays, Mondays: days off Holiday’s program: There are four months of summer holiday in Azerbaijan - Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays: 12.00 - 16.00 program for children, sports activities, tournaments, football, volleyball, table tennis, beach -swimming, table games, visiting of the museums, watching movies and discussing about it, many different workshops, painting, drawing, singing, small theater, the program for this days are created together with children who visit them, we try to address their needs and desires - Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays: 16.00 - 20.00 programs for youth, nearly the same catalog of activities, but focus is more to discussion about their motivations, about their future, their opinion, and young people are more involved in creating their own program and motivated to actively participate in it, some trips to the country side - Wednesdays, Fridays 10.00 - 17.00 - meeting of leaders who prepare a program for children and youth, there are two different groups of leaders, one preparing the summer camps in country side and another focused on the summer camps in the city - Sundays, Mondays - days off
