KÖKSAL ERSAYIN ANADOLU LISESI

Ready to study with European partners :) Koksal Ersayın Anadolu Lisesi - KEAL is a public high school in the city of Samsun, Turkey. The city is situated in the North of Turkey. The city has been developing slowly and there are not many industrial facilities here. KEAL gives a good education to the students from the area, as well as for some students who are from surrounding districts. Most of the students live in Samsun and everyday they have to take the school bus to school, adding time to the students day and reducing opportunities for personal development. The students lack a study atmosphere and most of them have computers at home. They need to develop good relationships with new European friends. With the help of this project and encouragement they will be able to learn about the changing world, other European cultures and humanity as a whole. In KEAL, 49 teachers are teaching 728 students. As a general high school, subjects such as English, German, Physics, Math, History are taught during a school year. The teachers see many opportunities in Erasmus+ for the students, not only to improve their language skills (very useful for their future jobs) but also to help them choose the right higher education for their future needs. We are very much aware of the problems in our daily lives. The students are already willing to study any topic and to raise public awareness of the matter so that we hang on to our studies for the future generations.
