Econ - BASE

The Economic and Business Association within a multi Scientific Environment (Econ - BASE) was launched on Oct of 2014. It fills a gap in the Greek community of economists — the absence of a truly European, inclusive, pluralist, professional association. The Greek Economic Chamber and the rest of the Economic Associations provide broad associations mainly for the fields of certain scientific areas of expertise. The Econ - BASE promote a European economic and financial view with pluralism of approaches to economic analysis and into a multi scientific environment. With the term "multi scientific environment" we define the scientists and entrepreneurs whom besides the fact that they aren't economists they are interested in economics and its relationship with their own field of interest. As an example, our members are coming form a huge variety of scientific fields. They are engineerings, IT scientists, lawyers, doctors and every other scientist who chosen the liaison with the economic sciences either in his bachelor degree or in his postgraduate, Master, PhD degree. To this end, us in Econ - BASE we would like to make clear that one of our main purposes is to stretch the idea that we belonging in Europe and we want to cooperate international as Organization as Scientists and of-course as human beings. To achieve the upper mentioned aim we would like to be members of the Erasmus + community. So since the March of 2014 we are eligible organization for the Youth Mobility Projects of Erasmus + and we actively search for partners either in our field or in any other.
