Emel-Oktay Türkoğlu Vocational and Technical High School

It was established in 2007 as a boarding school consisting of three buildings; administrative building, dormitory and school. There are 12 female students and 41 male students. The staff consists of 10 teachers. Most of the students come from rural background and low socio-economic families. After taking theoretical basic lessons such as Maths, Turkish, history etc. in the first year, the students attend practical courses according to their departments and go on training at hotels or restaurants for a 6-month period during 3 years.
