Gülşehir Çok Programlı Anadolu Lisesi(Gülşehir Multi Programmed High School)

Gulsehir Multi Programmed Anatolian Lycee is a public vocational and technical school with approximately 250 students and 20 teachers,situated in a lovely countryside in Nevşehir.Nevşehir is in Cappadocia Region.It is secondary level school,students age is 14-19 years old. It has ICT and Electrical-Electronical technologies departments and gives young people vocational skills. The most important aim of our study is to ensure having a career or a future job for students.Most of our students are from rural areas ,small villages, have no chance of making academic education and they are children in families with low socio-economic level. For these reasons they prefer our schools, because our school is the shortest gate way to passing working life. Our organization always carries out projects ,vocational training and guidance and teacher training activities to enhance the performance of education system,reinforce improving the quality and efficiency of school education. In addition to educating students on the basis of secondary and vocational education, since 1994 our organization provides formal and non-formal learning resources for youth learners and youth parents, organises training and -making activities with the European Union and Youth Studies Student Club. Our club plans and carries out promotional activities related with professional career and employment opportunities except the fields that students are studying in school, it also carries out monitoring and advising activities for young graduated from our school.
