About Organization
Kindergarten No. 48 "Under the Pines" is a public kindergarten, located in Bydgoszcz at J. Kleina 3 Street. The kindergarten is a public institution, it implements the objectives and tasks set out in the Education System Act, the Education Law Act. Our preschool education aim is to support the overall development of the child. We provide this support through the process of care, upbringing, and teaching. Thanks to this, a child discovers his own abilities, sense of action and gathers new experiences. The task of the facility is to support the child's multidirectional activity by organizing conditions conducive to the acquisition of experiences in the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive areas of its development. We Create educational situations conducive to building a child's interest in the modern language, willingness to learn about other cultures, promoting safety and health protection rules. As a result of such support, the child reaches maturity to start learning at the first stage of education. The facility is available for children from 3 to 6 years old, and in special cases, children over 2.5 years can attend the kindergarten. The facility has eight groups, there are about 200 preschoolers in the entire kindergarten. The kindergarten runs two English-speaking groups, where teachers conduct classes in English. English is taught for 5 hours a day (5 days a week) in English only. Classes are conducted based on the pre-school education programs in force. The group size is approximately 25 children. An English teacher and a Polish-speaking teacher are also present during the classes. Children's learning is supported, among others through children's literature in English, films in English, rhythmics in English, and various board games, educational toys, theater, etc. The English group room is equipped with interesting aids to help children learn the language. The project coordinator in the kindergarten will also act as a volunteer supervisor. The headmaster and the second English teacher will work together to best prepare and implement the planned activities in the institution with the children.
