About Organization
Zamolxes Foundation was registered in 1996 as a non-governmental and apolitical organization, and has constantly worked in the field of youth, culture, education and training, social issues, environmental protection, sport, having as main target group youngsters, but also people of different age categories. Our vision is that of an harmonious society through the implication of all citizens in the issues of their community and of the society they are part of. From this vision we have defined the mission of our organization, that of supporting youngsters in their personal and social development process, represented also by our values of a young vision, an open and tolerant mentality, global conception and concrete action for all issues that our activities tackle with. The main aim of our organization is that of supporting and promoting the interests of young people in the fields nominated above and the objectives that derive from this aim are: raising the active participation of youngsters through non-formal education, developing their creativity through different thematic workshops, developing the ecological consciousness through development of environmental projects, developing of social competences through training courses, seminars and conferences on interest themes for youngsters, raising of European awareness through international projects within EU programs.
