About Organization
AEPER (animation, education, prevention & reintegration) is a social cooperative based in Bergamo (Italy) that has been working for 30 years in the fields of youth policies, mental health, minors’ protection and children neuropsychiatry. It is member of several networks both at a local and at a national level (Consorzio Solco Città Aperta, CNCA, CGM). AEPER has now 85 members and a board council managing it. Its employees are 200, while the volunteers are around 80. AEPER has been dedicating its attention to non formal education and to Youth work since its birth in many different ways: we run youth projects, youth centres, several kinds of artistic, music, creative workshops, animation; we are part of a network managing coworking centres for youth. Since forever Aeper organizes residential workshops and learning weeks dedicated to teenagers who face a specific theme by spending together a week. AEPER is working with European programs especially Youth in action-Erasmusplus since 2012 organizing and taking part in youth exchanges (on youth unemployment, on citizenship, on healthy lifestyle, on landart etc), PBAs, job-shadowings, training courses (on youth work, on EVSs, on Youthpass competences etc). Aeper is accredited for EVS as hosting, sending and receiving organization.
