Nordjobb is a Nordic labor market exchange program for youths, that arranges summer jobs for young people in the Nordic countries. Nordjobb also assists the applicant in finding accommodation and offers recreational activities as part of our leisure time program. The aim of Nordjobb is to increase the mobility of young people on the common Nordic and European labour market and also to help strengthening this labour market. Nordjobb also tries to increase the knowledge of languages and cultures in the Nordic region. The program was first initiated in 1985, and has since provided summer jobs for more almost 30000 young people. Norjobb vision is: - Strengthening the Nordic identity and solidarity of youngster involved with Nordjobb - Increasing youth mobility in the Nordic countries and Europe - Strengthening the common Nordic labor market and Europe - Increasing language understanding between youngsters in the Nordic countries.
