Nigde Omer Halisdemir University ( NOHU) is a tertiary level higher education institution founded in 1992. There are 14 faculties, 6 vocational , 4 graduate schools and 13 research centers and one conservatuary with approx. 27.000 students and 1000 out of them are international ones at all the levels. 1003 academic and 430 administrative staff work . NOHU has been carrying out many projects in the scope of Erasmus programs since 2004 and one of the accrediated tertiary level institutions. It is an active member of KA131, KA130 and KA171 projects. We send approx. 150 students in the scope of programs and we receive approx. 20 students for the study and training mobility programs. NOHU also has protocol agreements with the countries which are not member of EU that we receive approx. 250 students for the training and study mobility as inbounds. NOHU supports academic teaching and training mobility programs as well. The most important thing is to raise the individuals while giving a chance of seeing the another culture to have a notice of another world out of their residency. The aim of the program application for NOHU is to extend the cooperation borders and give the individuals a chance of learning about another cultures and gaining them Erasmus program awareness. Therefore, NOHU would like to take place at such projects. The target group will be young people at the age of 18-30. The main activities will vary on the supported projects as support or host institution.
