About Organization
Our organization Gyönyg Szeke Alapítvány, was founded in 2010 and the main aim was to support the local families with young children by organizing programmes for children and for young mums to promote to develop healthy lifestyle and harmonious personality. One of the most important activity of our foundation is to run the FunnyKids Kindergarten and Daycare, which is located only 5 km from Veszprém, in the heart of Nemesvámos, next to a small stream, in a two-storey family house. Thanks to the good economic policy of the village, many multinational companies and several small businesses have settled here, attracting a large workforce from the wider area. The industrial development has also led to the development of the village, with many young families choosing to live in the quiet countryside close to the city. The population of the village is growing and the number of children is increasing steadily. There is only one kindergarten in the village, which is 100% occupied, and our kindergarten and daycare has been running with 100% capacity for ages, too. The institution originally started as a family day care centre in 2010. It was founded by Dr. Izabella Nagyné Barabás. She owned the building, they had their own family house for 6 years and lived there in parallel with the family day care. The two groups of children were organised according to age. It is a child-friendly institution with a family atmosphere. Currently there is one nursery and one kindergarten group with 40 children alltogether. Building on the educational tradition of the national kindergarten, we are actively involved in the development and education of the children from the age of 2.5 until the age of 6. The aim of our institution is to develop the personality of children and to promote their harmonious development. Our primary objectives are to educate children about the world, to teach them to lead a healthy lifestyle and to transmit the most appropriate social norms in a loving, caring and nurturing atmosphere. Education and learning are integrated into the daily programmes in a playful way, according to their mood and individual development. It is important for us to create a flexible, but regular and repetitive daily schedule, which gives the children a sense of security and emotional safety. This leads to an optimisation of their emotional life, socialisation and moral development. It is important for us to work closely with parents, helping each other to develop the most harmonious worldview for our children. The house has a floor area of 210 sqm 2. Our building is well maintained, well accessible, equipped with facilities, rooms and equipment that meet European standards. Our mixed-age kindergarten group is located on the ground floor and the nursery group on the first floor. There are separate changing rooms, toilets and kitchen areas on each floor. It is colourful, bright, modern and tastefully decorated. We have a well-equipped gym. The yard is well equipped, with a wide range of activities for children, . We take the children on small outings, walks, to the puppet theatre and the zoo. We take the children horse riding and swimming on request. Speech therapy is offered on a weekly basis, as needed or requested, as well as folk dance, dog therapy, swimming and horse riding. The infrastructure for these activities is adequate in quality and quantity. Our ideas for improvement are constantly discussed with your professional community. Internal cooperation and communication within the institution is good, with weekly or monthly discussions on the tasks ahead. Our professional community is in excellent harmony, our relations are excellent, we also participate in joint activities outside the workplace (sports, cinema, etc.) Outside the institution, professional cooperation with parents, other institutions (nursery, kindergarten, school), health care institutions, social services, educational advisors and the maintenance organisation is fully in place.
