About Organization
The Poznań-Ille-et-Vilaine foundation has existed since 1990. It works for decentralized international cooperation, especially between the Greater Poland region and Brittany, which are partner regions. The Foundation runs a Brittany House in Poznań, where it organizes many events based on the idea of spreading the intercultural dialogue. These events include the Days of Francophonie - 28 editions, the Brittany Days - 25 editions, the Festival of European Cultures –10 editions, International Flageolet Workshops - 18 editions and numerous series of lectures, concerts, film screenings, artistic, cultural and linguistic workshops, which all is aimed at building the understanding beyond the cultural differences. The Foundation addresses its activities to economically active adults as well as to seniors and students. Admission to the events is mostly free of charge and open to everybody who is interested.
