Consell Comarcal de la Selva

The "Oficina Jove de la Selva" (Youth Office) is a public service for youth people in a local area called La Selva. This youth office is located in Santa Coloma de Farners. The mission statemen of the youth office is to give respond to the request and needs of the youth between 16 and 30 years old. We develop youth policies in essential issues suchs as: training, education, work, participation, culture and health. The Youth Office of La Selva is part of the National Youth Emancipation Net and is the fruit of a collaboration agreement between different public administration (local administration, regional administration and national government). Some of the youth office's services and activities are the general information and guidance service, training activities, job orientation and promotion of health. One of the goals of the Youth Office is to promote the European mobility and youth participation.
