CGE Erfurt e.V. is a non-profit, non-governmental organization based in Erfurt Germany, and founded in 2005. Our team is composed of young professionals primarily from migrant backgrounds (internally within the EU, and global migrants), who are designing, implementing and evaluating local and international youth projects with the aim to develop communities, and strengthen European identity and values. CGE Erfurt e.V. has more than 10 years of experience creating educational concepts, that allow participants to develop a self-defined strategy of learning in the framework of non-formal education. At the moment, CGE Erfurt employs 4 project managers, 4 project assistants, one financial coordinator, 3 interns and is supported by 3 ESK volunteers. ESK volunteers play an integral role within the organisation. As a migrant driven organisation that connects with migrant communities within our projects, the presence of ESK volunteers from diverse backgrounds enables CGE to outreach into new and emerging communities and to strengthen the access of our organisation and projects. The aims of our organisation are: - to develop and implement programs in non-formal education for young people and adults in Erfurt, Thuringia, Germany and Europe - to convey values like peace, democracy, solidarity and sustainability - to support active citizenship and the integration of all people despite their social status, origin, skin colour, religion, sex etc. in society - to create active and result-orientated activities; to address problems and challenges of the society in the fields of education, environment, politics, economy, social, law and culture. - to promote participation and entrepreneurship mindset among youngsters - to support ICT development and integration with education - to foster intercultural, interethnic and interreligious dialogue - to enhance entrepreneurial and opportunity recognition skills of young entrepreneurs - to assist regional and local authorities in the implementation of regional policies on youth empowerment and entrepreneurship - to carry out research activities on entrepreneurship promotion, sustainability and development - to actively promote cultural diversity and to fight against racism, discrimination, group-focused enmity and nationalism. The implementation goes through diverse learning opportunities like Training Courses, seminars, workshops, study visits, youth exchanges, work camps, volunteer services, symposia, conferences, forums and other formats with local, regional, national, European and other international partners on local, regional, national, European and international level through non-formal education in the fields of: 1. civic youth and adult education 2. environmental and outdoor youth and adult education 3. cultural youth and adult education 4. intercultural youth and adult education 5. social youth and adult education 6. health and well-being 7. media pedagogic youth and adult education --- CGE Erfurt e.V. ist eine gemeinnützige Nichtregierungsorganisation mit dem Sitz in Erfurt, die 2005 gegründet wurde. Sie ist von jungen Fachleuten mit unterschiedlichem kultirellen Hintergrund geleitet. Zurzeit beschäftigt CGE Erfurt 4 Projektmanager, 4 Projektassistenten, einen Finanzkoordinator, 1 Praktikanten und 3 Freiwillige (insgesamt kommen unsere Mitarbeiter*innen aus den 9 verschiedenen Ländern). Unsere Projekte werden weltweit von Deutschland bis Usbekistan, Russland und ganz Europa durchgeführt. Während unsere Schwerpunkte vielfältig sind, engagieren wir uns oft an Projekten, die die Zivilgesellschaft stärken und Migrantengemeinschaften und Projekte einbeziehen, die digitale Instrumente einsetzen, um Hindernisse beim Zugang zu Bildung und Beschäftigung zu überwinden.
