About Organization
European Ways is active within Erasmus + (Youth in Action) Projects since 2014, when we have done our first youth exchange. From the year 2017 we got an EVS accreditation for sending and coordinating (2017-1-DE04-KA110-015702). Thus European Ways is an expreienced NGO. We were established in 2010 in Berlin as an informal group of students, researchers and active youngsters. And in 2016 the European Ways e.V. was registered in Leipzi, Saxony. European Ways is an NGO involving young researchers, professionals and professors active in youth work, energy policy, massmedia, intercultural dialogue and conflict resolution. We help young people from across the country to get in touch with each other. We also give them inspiration and knowledge about how they can face the problems they see in their own communities and, if possible, give solutions to them. We also involve refugees in our projects as a new part of our society augmenting their smoother integration into the European and German society. European Ways e.V. is an experienced NGO carrying out transnational projects, particularly in the areas of international mobility of young people and raising a generation of youth leaders through trainings and other similar actions. Our projects are designed to foster the emergence of a European citizenship and interculturalism, based on the values of tolerance, equality, peace and solidarity. European Ways e.V. is politically and religiously independent organization open for all young people aiming to be involved in the activities of an inclusive and democratic organization. We embrace a norm-critical approach and work as hard as we can to create an accessible organization where everyone feels welcome which is the most important for us. European Ways e.V. has been actively involved in the Youth in Action and Erasmus+ programs previously. The organization has been running activities as a sending as well as coordinating organization and is currently working on upgrading its activities according to the recent changes of the program, i.e. according to the updates of Solidarity Corps. As we have been content with the results of projects implemented within EVS framework, we now plan to extend the spectrum of our projects and actions, hence we strive to become a hosting organization to be able to carry out more impactful projects for keeping on promoting the principles of European Solidarity Corps. Having the experience and the expertise within Erasmus+ and EVS in particular, we now are ready to make serious commitments in order to meet the objectives set by the European Solidarity Corps program for the upcoming years.
