D'Antilles & D'Ailleurs (DA&DA) works trough 4 main axes : - Training: by organizing conferences, seminars, labs, and intercultural meetings concerning citizenship, entrepreneurship, access to social rights and the active participation of disadvantaged groups. - Mobility: by implementing initiatives of prevention, information and non-formal education activities boosting access to mobility and professional inclusion of people with fewer opportunities - Awareness: by developing partnerships with associations and public institutions to implement actions of information/awareness and fight against discriminations. - Cooperation: by supporting and developing initiatives of cooperation, development and capacity building of the disadvantaged communities and groups, promoting peace, human rights, and equity. D'Antilles & D'Ailleurs is a dynamic organization working mainly with vulnerable groups (youth, women, and migrants) supporting access to social rights, promoting active citizenship and voluntarism, facilitating the learning through NFE, mobility, training, and apprenticeship. DA&DA promotes employability through inclusive entrepreneurship, digital and sustainable development. We are experienced in project management in the framework of European programs; (Europe for citizen; Erasmus Plus KA1/2; Capacity Building for Youth and EuropeAid), VET for adults and community outreach. Martinique is part of France but located in the Caribbean. It has a strong cultural identity, different from the mainland of France, with specific traditions. There are very few NGOs working with the Erasmus+ program and very few possibilities to attend trainings and mobilities throughout Europe. Our target group faces geographical/socio/economical and educational obstacles. We use mobilities and peer to peer to develop competences and let people discover other realities (most of our beneficiaries have never been to Europe), enhancing their self-esteem and autonomy, reflect on their identity and personal background.
