About Organization
The EOS school is a school which practices the Waldorf-Steiner education. This way of teaching celebrated its hundredth anniversary in 2019. This education respects the rhythm of the children and develops their artistic, intellectual and manual skills. This way of teaching concerns the pupils of the kindergarten and elementary classes. Children are aged from 2 and a half to 12 years old. The volunteer is in charge, with the teacher, of the young children in the kindergarten. Seasonal celebrations, nature and arts take an important part of our pedagogy. We focus on the rhythm of the day, of the week, of the months for the young person to acquire more internal safeness. We welcome children of different ages in the same class, solidarity and equity play an important role between children. Our school also hosts migrant children. We support them in their social integration. We are advocating for collegiality in our professor committees. We work in close partnership with the parents , coming from many countries from Europe, for the co-education and the organisation of the school. For our school, accepting young European volunteers has its place and makes sense for us. Our community of parents is multi-lingual and having a German volunteer is a benefit for our team.
