Collège Marie-José Chombart de Lauwe

Secondary schoolof 580 pupils aged fron 11 to 15. 24 classes, with an optional teaching of European studies, concerning 25 pupils. We have a European project with an exchange with a school in Iceland ( twin town), which took place in May 2018. We are building a future exchange with Germany with a visit from the young Germans in October 2018. We teach english in all the classes. German and Spanish from 12 years of age. Every year we have a trip to Great Britain for 100 pupils in 4th year and a trip to Germany or Spain for 70 pupils. The school is situated in a very pretty fishing port, a sort of land's end and we want to develop openmindedness through curiosity for other countries and areas in Europe, through our twinned towns ( several in our area) with Ireland, Gerrmany, England and Iceland.
