About Organization
The NGO Open Republic was founded in 1999 and has approximately 1000 members. Our main focus is on civic education, inclusion and integration and multiculturalism. Special attention is dedicated to the integration of living in Estonia minorities. Almost 70% of the members are ethnic minorities; mostly young people between 16-26 who speak Russian as their mother tongue. Open Republic has been working for more than 10 years with the Russian speaking minority in Estonia. The organization has a profound understanding of the realities and challenges faced by this target group and can provide an outstanding level of expertise as well as engagement strategies. Open Republic has a multiannual experience of organizing events and projects.
