Gesellschaft der Salesianer Don Boscos - Österreichische Provinz (SDB) is part of an international congregation of the Catholic church that organizes youth work in the style of Don Bosco in Austria. In Austria they lead youth centres, homes for minor refugees, secondary schools, student hostels, play schools, after-school care clubs, youth groups, youth leaderships programs, leisure time activities and parishes. They are connected to different associations and networks such as the youth council of the archdiocese of Vienna and the Bundesjugendvertretung Österreich on a national level, and the Salesian Youth Movement Europe and Don Bosco Youth-Net (DBYN) on an European level. All activities are open to youth regardless their education, nationality, religion or cultural background and always in the spirit of Don Bosco - for the young, by the young, with the young. A networking partner is the NGO Don Bosco Volunteers, which guarantees coordination, mentoring und formation for the European Solidarity Corps in a professional way.
