The Salesian Sisters (FMA, Deutschsprachige Provinz der Don Bosco Schwestern Region Österreich) is a catholic religious institute focused on education, social inclusion, youth and pastoral care. The values are rooted in Don Bosco (1815-1888) and Maria Mazzarello (1837-1881). In Austria they lead homes for minor refugees, secondary schools, student hostels, play schools, after-school care clubs, youth groups, youth leaderships programs, women empowerment programmes and leisure time activities. A networking partner is the NGO Don Bosco Volunteers, which guarantees coordination, mentoring und formation for the European Solidarity Corps in a professional way.
