Bernu un jauniesu biedriba "Skrejcels"

Organisation's aim is to promote society participation in meaningful leisure time activities according to their abilities, age and interests. To promote and improve creativity and leadership in volunteers and local youngsters, to improve competences and improve skills of volunteers and youth workers. To participate in organizing cultural, educational, sporting, technical creative activities, camps for children, youngsters and other target groups at local and international level. To develop cooperation with various state, municipal and non-governmental organizations both in Latvia and abroad. "Skrejceļš" has great cooporation with Liepajas Bērnu un jaunatnes centrs (LBJC) or Liepaja Children and Youth Centre. It is an educational institution that aims to develop children's and young people's individual skills and interests, promotes vocational choices and provides a meaningful leisure time activities. LBJC consists of four departments, where three of them implement interests education, and the one where volunteers would do most of their service - ” Youth House” of Liepaja provides non–formal education. The main objective of “Youth house” is to provide a set of activities and events that contribute to the gain of new knowledge, skills and attitudes for youngsters that would support them in commencement of independent life.
