Bustrup Dayschool is a private and independent school offer for young people who can not attend the Public Schools of different reasons. Bustrup Dayschool is situated in the beautiful countryside. The school is build in an old mansion with 50 acres of land where we have horses, chickens, forest, shelters and garden farming. Bustrup Dayschool has around 18 students and 10 teachers. Bustrup Dayschool has a Practical Class with special responsibility of running our Café Borgen, which is a Summertime Café serving many guests and they also run our public Fitness Center. The Future Class is preparing for passing exams and Basic Class for students who need individual study plans. A part of Bustrup School center is also 3 care homes where the Dayschool students live. It means that we care for our students 24/7/365. The staff of the Dayschool is international. At the moment we have teachers from Germany, Poland, Denmark, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary and our cook is Vietnamese. Our school is active in Sports, Theater, Music, Arts, Building and Garden Farming. The school has a "Learning-by-Doing" approach and the school functions like a community where everybody with their strengths. Bustrup Dayschool is active in the local community and invite local people for Art exhibitions and local school children to Nature Days.
