Qendra "Tirana Art"

Qendra Tirana Art is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious organization. It was established on 24th of February in 2015 by court decision 989/1 in court of Tirana district court, as a legal person, resident in Tirana. Registered with registration certificate number L515094530. Qedra Tirana Art has as main objective monitoring and respecting human rights by passing supportive messages through art. Qendra Tirana Art, for several years has developed many activities for the protection and monitoring of human rights. The target that Qendra Tirana Art has is mostly youth from different fields, including art and civil society. One of the activities that QTA organize every year is for children's rights! Every June 1st since 2012, on the international day of children Qendra Tirana Art organize an exhibition of visual arts, from the artworks exposed in this exhibition education is perceived for the children's rights. It is becoming a tradition now for QTA organizing activities on the topic of diversity. Tirana Art, in March 2018, organized the activity Tirana Pro Diversity Against Racism. In collaboration with UNITED for Intercultural Action, organized an activity that was composed with different parts, such as transmitting a movie with this topic (12 YEARS a SLAVE), invited in this activity were all the minorities in Albania. After the movie an open discussion on the topics of diversity was continued and in the end a diversity party started together with all the participants. In October 2018, Qendra Tirana Art, conducted the activity Handle with Care in Albania against human trafficking, with the support of the Dutch Embassy in Tirana. On December 10, 2018, on the occasion of the International day of Human rights in collaboration with the Dutch Embassy in Tirana, Qendra Tirana Art showed a movie “The Poetess”
