Based in the vibrant Zografou district of Athens, near the University campus, our organization, the EEEK Athens, is a youth-focused NGO dedicated to empowering young individuals, especially those from migrant backgrounds. Established by a group of 20 visionaries and driven by a core team of five dedicated members, we aim to address two critical areas: youth entrepreneurship and healthy living. Our primary objective is to cultivate entrepreneurial skills among university students, preparing them for the competitive landscape of the free market. We place a significant emphasis on integrating marginalized youth, particularly from migrant backgrounds, into our activities. This integration not only fosters a sense of community but also promotes diversity and inclusivity. Another key focus area is promoting a healthy lifestyle among the youth. Recognizing the shift towards physical activities during the pandemic, we are now taking a step further by introducing concepts of nutritious diets and the benefits of microgreens. Our goal is to break the stereotype that superfoods are only for the affluent, making them accessible to all, especially young people. Our target groups are primarily university students in Zografou, with a special focus on young individuals from migrant backgrounds. Through our various activities, we strive to create a supportive environment where these young people can develop their skills, enhance their well-being, and contribute positively to society.
