Our association works on promoting the rights of refugees and the inclusion of refugees in the local community. The broader goal of the association is to include persons seeking international and subsidiary protection and persons under international or subsidiary protection in the community and to sensitize the citizens of the Republic of Croatia to unique challenges this group faces. We operate primarily in the areas of our group's human rights advocacy, social work and education. The activities we are now undertaking are related to assistance in employment, education and community involvement. A regular activity, i.e. projects, that we run are refugee programming courses, and we have just launched a new social mentoring project for young refugees. The focus of the association is on young refugees aged 18-30, given that there are no programs targeting this group exclusively. Most of the activities and projects of other associations are focused on families and children, and this group is often left without adequate support. Through our work, we are promoting equality, solidarity, tolerance, cooperation and community building.
