The experimental therapeutic educational village Monino is located in rural Russia, in Tver region. The format of the village can be described as inclusive intentional community - families with different background that desided to live together, to work on the land together, to raise children together (there are a waldorf kindergarden and a school in the community). There are now living 6 families, altogether more than 30 people. Ther are two grown up people with special needs that live as a part of the community, one of them for more than 20 years. We aim to find awareness in day to day activities, to help each other grow spiritualy, to live a sustainable live. Regular activities in our community include: - hosting school class trips, with programms created specificly for their needs, topics rangig from forest and tree care through tolerance and inclusion to sustanible farming; - hosting school trips from inclusion schools and youth centers for children and youth with special needs; - orginising family camps and internationsl youth camps.
