FLGym is the umbrella organization of, for the time being, 46 gymnastics clubs located in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The main objective of FLGym is the promotion of gymnastics in all its formats, whether competitive, leisure or fun. Along with the purely sporting component, there is a transmission of important values for personal development, such as zeal, willingness for effort, personal discipline, reliability, collegiality, solidarity. The FLGym organizes about ten competitions per year, as well as meetings and training for managers, coaches and judges. The target audience of FLGym are the some 7,500 license holders having their membership in at least one of the 46 affiliated clubs, as well as the general public, especially families. The proper functioning of the FLGym depends largely on the commitment and enthusiasm of a large number of volunteers who are active at the level of the board of directors and of the advisory committees or working groups.
