About Organization
Established in 1876 Red Cross Aarhus is an independent local society of Danish Red Cross. More than 800 volunteers devote their time and energy to operate app. 40 local services/activities all with the aim of fighting social exclusion and improving lives of vulnerable individuals and minorities in the community of Aarhus. Our target groups are broad and include for instance; - Homeless - Mentally vulnerable, people with dementia and handicapped - Lonely people - Immigrants - Battered women - Socially vulnerable families - Students and others interested in international and humanitarian law - All citizens of Aarhus interested in sustainability
