About Organization
Fundacion Aldaba- Proyecto Hombres is a non-profit organization, Its purpose is the development of actions aimed at caring for groups at risk of exclusion and / or special vulnerability such as individuals and families affected by drug addiction and other social addictions, promoting their rehabilitation and social reintegration. Likewise, it pays attention and seek the promotion of health, social well-being and, where appropriate, the full social integration of immigrants, the elderly, ethnic minorities, prisoners ..., including the adult population, childhood and youth. To achieve the above-mentioned goals, our Foundation promotes the constitution, improvement and development of a large variety of activities and services, promoting initiatives to support and defend collective interests, this can be done directly or working together with other institutions PROGRAM OBJECTIVES: 1.-Creating and managing social services, educational or healthy programs for vulnerable groups in risk of social exclusion to get their rehabilitation and social re-entry 2.- Developping our approach, to produce, spread and extend scientific and technological knowledge related to social issues, offering solutions to cope or mitigate them 3.-Raising social awareness and educational activities related to the different groups or situations we work with. 4.- Including any action to improve and enhance the quality of life of the most vulnerable population Nowadays the Foundation “Aldaba- Proyecto Hombre Valladolid” services and ressources are: A Therapeutic community related to treatement and rehabilitation centres for drug-dependent adults and other pathologies In-Day Care Centre to provide outpatient treatment in order to mantain integrated social or family dynamics A Comprehensive familial preventive strategy to prevent drug consumption among adolescents and Young adults A Sheltered Housing for abused women with drugs-related problems. A Sheleterd Housing promoting social and labour market inclusión for people under treatment and rehabilitation of drug-dependence
