About Organization
GFD is a non-governmental, non-profit and non-political organisation based in Antalya, Turkey.Its main purpose is to promote, support, develop and use efficiently the human talent and capital to improve living conditions through the development of society in terms of economic, social, educational, cultural, sports, environmental, tourism and entrepreneurship. The starting point in achieving its purpose is innovation and promoting best practices in lifelong teaching/learning/assessment process through national and transnational research and cooperation with training providers and other stakeholders.We are an organization, which creates opportunities for young people who would like to be an active, try and learn something new and gain new experience and knowledge for personal and professional development. We believe that young people must become a driving force in building the society in which they live and therefore we create various opportunities in order to help shape a generation that is determined to change our country and the world for the better. The Youth Opportunities Association (GFD) is a non-profit organization. The main purpose of GFD is to improve the living conditions of young people, to encourage, support, develop and use their talents efficiently through social development in terms of economic, social, educational, cultural, sports, environment, tourism and entrepreneurship among young people. It is to encourage and renew best practices in the lifelong learning / learning / evaluation process through national and international research and cooperation with other stakeholders by providing education opportunities for young people to be more easily integrated and active in the local community they live in. As GFD, we are an active organization that creates opportunities for young people who want to learn something new and gain new experiences and knowledge for personal and professional development. Our association mostly works with young people (including people with cultural, economic and geographic disabilities). Our aim is to develop the competences of young people, including to raise an awareness of various important global and local issues, and to make it a better product for the labor market and active European citizens; We aim to change something in today's society. In addition, the Association shares its activities by researching and publishing informational materials with domestic and international organizations, institutions and individuals. We believe that young people should be a driving force in the society in which they live, and therefore we want to create a variety of opportunities to help shape a generation determined to make our country and the world better. Our ultimate goal: To eliminate the disadvantaged situation of young people in their communities and to help them to be included in the local communities where they live. The main field of our work is to enlighten young people in formal and uncommon areas. Education, conflict resolution, human rights, personal development, social inclusion, youth unemployment, sports, disadvantaged youth and disadvantaged areas, protection of cultural heritage, youth entrepreneurship, environment, volunteer movement, new technologies and organizing local and international projects for us education We work on the development of young people with whom they face problems, health problems, cultural differences and social, economic and geographical barriers. We are an association that creates opportunities for young people. At GFD, we want young people to be more active, to learn by experiencing and learn new things, and to gain new experiences and knowledge for their personal and professional development.
