About Organization
Moving Ground lets urban youth create performing arts for a future without thresholds. Young people from the age of 10 to 30 can find weekly activities in the performing arts: theater, dance, music and spoken word in Borgerhout en Deurne-Noord. Two areas in Antwerp with a lot of urban challenges for young people to get through. They work around a social topic: problems in their neighborhood, city or country and create a performance around it which they share with the community. Moving Ground makes sure the activities are accessible to all young people in the city, whether or not they have any special needs. Young people with more ambition in the performing arts, are supported practically, financially and mentally in the Moving Talent Plan.
