About Organization
The centre is an association governed by the law of 1901. It is run by committed volunteers who live in the Belle Beille neighbourhood. It is a place open to all inhabitants, and welcomes all types of public, without distinction of age, ethnic, religious or cultural affiliation, or specific social situation. The city of Angers has set up a city contract and a city policy to help the priority neighbourhoods, of which the Belle-Beille neighbourhood is one. This allows for the reduction of development gaps and the improvement of the living conditions of the inhabitants, notably by fighting against all forms of discrimination. The Jacques Tati centre's project is based on 3 main points: - the centre is a place of welcome open to the neighbourhood which encourages "living together". - the centre is a place where families can meet. - the centre is a place that encourages responsibility and civic commitment The Jacques Tati centre facilitates the setting up of projects according to the needs and desires of the inhabitants. A salaried team then implements the projects. This team is led by a director who is responsible for steering the projects. The team of employees is divided into 4 sectors: -children's (3-11 years) youth (11-25 years),family overall activities (reception, local activities, adventure playground, neighbourhood festival, cultural activities). It comprises 17.8 full-time equivalents
