About Organization
Kindergarten No. 86 in Gdańsk is a public institution run by the Municipality of the City of Gdańsk. It is attended by 118 children aged 3-6. We are a public institution, which is also attended by children with special educational needs, including child in a wheelchair. We are an innovative facility, where we introduce the latest technologies in our work - we change the spaces in the rooms, we create mini-thematic workshops, such as ceramics, sewing and DIY. From September 2023, one of the four-year-old units will be bilingual. Our goal is to support the development of our pupils by discovering their possibilities, independent action, independent learning about the surrounding reality - all this leads to reaching maturity to start learning in primary school, The main activities of the kindergarten are: 1. Organizing conditions conducive to the acquisition of experience by the child in various areas of its development. 2. Supporting the child's activity. 3. Supporting children's independent exploration of the world. 4. Joint activities with parents and various institutions. 5. Creating situations that are conducive to awakening the child's interest in a foreign language and other cultures. The target group are children aged 3-6, their families and the local environment.
