Comité des Jumelages Angoulême - Villes Etrangères

The Comité des Jumelages Angoulême-Villes étrangères aims to bring together democratically citizens of all tendencies and all socio-professional categories. It promotes exchanges and cooperation between cities and their citizens. It intends to encourage friendship, mutual knowledge and intercultural dialogue for peace. It contributes to the construction of Europe, to the consolidation of the feeling of belonging to the European Union and to the emergence of a common identity in the respect of diversity. Founded in 1977, the association is a structure well anchored in the territory of Angoulême and has a great diversity of partnerships in the whole region.
