About Organization
One People is a not-for-profit association set up in Luxembourg in 2021 to raise awareness of anti-racist citizenship. This requires the commitment and active participation of all members of society. By working together and valuing diversity and inclusion, we can make progress towards an anti-racist and intercultural society. In this way, we aspire to motivate real equality of opportunity while respecting everyone's fundamental rights. Our activities focus on two main areas: Area 1: Raising awareness, informing, training and empowering people about anti-racism.Target audience All interested companies, institutions and associations • Provision of training modules for companies to raise awareness of racism and the various forms of discrimination that can result • Organization of public meetings for citizens to discuss the problems of racism experienced _ Target audience over 18 • Setting up administrative support for young people to help them with certain procedures where discriminatory attitudes can be detrimental: Target audience from 18 To 35 Area 2: Promote intercultural, intercommunity and intergenerational activities. Aim : creating opportunities for social mixing and the discovery of cultural riches. For example : • Film residency • Celebrating International Day Against Racism • Celebrating Europe Day... In October 2023, for the first time, One People will organize the BLACK HISTORY MONTH-Luxembourg, to promote all the Afro-descendant cultures present in Luxembourg.
