About Organization
L’Arche communities are associations under the 1901 law, approved as medico-social establishments for the reception of adults with mental disabilities. Our associative project is based on the relationship and the sharing of daily life as a means of taking care of people with a mental handicap. L'Arche in Trosly is part of the L'Arche Oise association, which brings together the 5 communities of L'Arche and an ESAT spread over two sites. The L’Arche Oise association employs 200 people, and welcomes 280 people with mental disabilities in several types of establishments (, E.S.A.T., occupational workshops, support service, specialized reception houses). “L’Arche à Trosly” is located in Trosly-Breuil in Oise (60), 15 km from Compiègne, on the edge of the forest. We welcome 75 people with mental disabilities in small households (homes, accommodation and MAS) and in two day workshops. We develop projects around adapted communication (MAKATON), the protection of nature, creativity (theater, dance, music, plastic arts, biscuit making, equitherapy, recycled paper, etc.).
