About Organization
L'Arche in Reims is a medico-social establishment which welcomes adults with mental disabilities. Financed by the Departmental Council and the State, L'Arche in Reims is an association under the 1901 law whose places of life and work are also recognized as medico-social establishments. L'Arche in Reims is made up of: - 3 Living and accommodation centers - 4 semi-autonomous studios - 1 day reception service Each home hosts 8 people with a mental disability who live with medico-social professionals, civic service volunteers, students accommodated against service and sometimes trainees. The day care service is run by professionals supported by volunteers and interns. L'Arche includes four inseparable dimensions: the community dimension, the dimension of competence, the spiritual dimension and the dimension of openness. These four dimensions are lived simultaneously in the whole functioning and activities of the community.
