Parohia Evanghelică C.A. Sibiu

Our parish, part of the C.A. Evangelical Church in Romania, is involved in a variety of activities covering areas such as religion, culture, environment and social work, some of which are organised in partnership with organisations abroad. These include organising organ concerts in collaboration with public and private institutions, implementing environmental protection projects such as selective waste collection and the use of renewable energies, and providing social support for families in need. Over the past 20 years, parish volunteers have been actively involved in all these projects, helping to organise cultural events, supporting young people and children in various educational and recreational activities, and providing practical assistance to vulnerable families. The target groups of the activities carried out by the parish include young people and children, who benefit from cultural and educational programmes, families in need, who receive social and emotional support, elderly people, who benefit from companionship and practical assistance, and the whole local community, who enjoy the environmental protection projects and cultural events organised by the parish. In addition, through rehabilitation projects of historic buildings, the parish contributes to the preservation and promotion of the cultural and historical heritage of the community.
