About Organization
The association l'île au vent (created in 2020), is located in the village of Ploeven (Region Bretagne) and is dedicated to the practice, promotion and development of agroecology and permaculture. It participates in the transmission, development and dissemination of ancient and emerging techniques and methods to promote and preserve a harmonious relationship between man and his environment, while respecting natural ecosystems. The association's project is in the public interest, open to all and preserving the secular and apolitical nature of its activities. The association's cardinal values are mutual aid, cooperation, learning from experience and the defense of biodiversity. Our activities are organized for everyone, regardless of gender, social and cultural background or nationality. Our association aims to contribute to the cultural and social enhancement of the surrounding rural communities, while respecting biodiversity and citizenship. Fighting eco-anxiety and recreating links by giving meaning to individual and collective actions is of paramount importance today
