Foundation “Situational Center Open Doors” (FSCOD), established April 2022, is dedicated to aiding individuals displaced by the war in Ukraine. Our mission is to facilitate their adaptation and integration into host societies, ensuring they find security and stability. Aims: Create a comprehensive ecosystem of support, covering aspects like communication, adaptation, education and/or vocational (re)training, mental health, employability, and culture. Enable them to actively participate in and contribute to the host societies, and continue to grow and develop. Foster cross-cultural understanding and raise awareness about the challenges faced by displaced persons, advocating for their rights and ensuring equal opportunities. Activities: Providing access to quality education in safe spaces for displaced children. Providing entrepreneurship trainings and/or professional skill development for sustainable livelihoods. Organizing social activities, language learning, and cultural events to facilitate positive interaction with host communities. Advocating for the rights of displaced persons and assisting in accessing government services. Providing mental health and psychosocial support. Target Groups: We focus is on individuals and families displaced from Ukraine, as we aim to assist them in all aspects of their resettlement. We also target individuals and organizations within communities that receive displaced Ukrainians, facilitating communication and mutual understanding.
This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps. — Lead Organisation — Scope: Volunteering
