About Organization
The CEIP Feliciano Sánchez Saura is a public center which educates students in kindergarten and primary education, was created in 2015 and is located in Barrio Peral, Cartagena. In 2016 we started a project that proposes a new approach towards the person and their development, from a close, familiar and respectful perspective. It is committed to accompanying the learning and growth processes of the different people who are part of the educational community. We understand the school as a space of accompaniment and respect for the children's life processes. We coexist with the children with the will that they feel recognized, accepted, loved; and that they can grow in balance and wellbeing. Their progress in autonomy and self-regulation of their own processes is centered on the development of emotional, motor, social and cognitive perceptions. Our first objective: To be happy in our school for all the members of the educational community. The school's educational project is based on two fundamental pillars, which are the ones that give meaning to everything that will be developed throughout this management project: - A respectful look towards children and their processes. - Pedagogical methods focused on active methodologies. Finally, we would like to point out that our pedagogical project is to implement constructivist methodologies that favor the acquisition of competencies and the development of complex cognitive processes.
