Lycée des métiers Claude Chappe

Since 1969, more than 88 teachers, administrators and agents from the Lycée des Métiers Claude Chappe trains around 350 students from 15 to 22 years old on different courses mainly for Professional Bachelor. This school provides training in the professions of metalwork, maintenance, with a specialization in windmill maintenance, electricity and administration management. Claude Chappe school benefits from the “Lycée des Métiers” label for the quality of its training. In addition, the school is one of the best equipped in France with equipment for the Wind turbine Maintenance. In fact, the school has a training tower for working at height. Since June 2023, there is a very recent wind turbine nacelle less than 15 years old. Since 2023 our school chose to build project around foreign out-mobilities we would like to become an host for in-mobility. We are Erasmus+ accredited since 2024 and are waiting for submitted projects: Teachers mobilities for 6 peoples for the beginning of 2025 and Pupils mobilities for 6 peoples in march 2025. We also work with Protandem and OFAJ organizations about France/Germany exchanges. We have several partnership in building (Spain, Germany). Especialy with an official partnership with a school we met in march and also maybe through our town twinning.
