About Organization
Betreuungszentrum Wasserburg GmbH is part of the Krohn-Leitmannstetter group of companies. In 1994, the co-partners Herbert Leitmannstetter and Werner Krohn founded the company in Bad Endorf (care for mentally handicapped people) and expanded it over the next few years to include facilities in Rimsting (Ertlhof), and in 2005 a transitional facility in Eggstätt, the Sonnenhof. It is designed for people with mental disabilities and is a therapeutic addition to Ertlhof. Since 2008, the company has operated the facilities in Wernhardsberg/St. Wolfgang and the Wasserburg care center in its own legal form. In 2014, a house for outpatient residential groups was added in Bad Endorf, and in 2020 the Burg Maria Stern facility in Wasserburg. Our mission statement is: living in an active community - this should also be possible for people with disabilities. The Krohn-Leitmannstetter companies' facilities focus on people in need of care, senior citizens and people with disabilities. The offers are as varied as the needs of the people. The goal, however, is always the same: The existing possibilities are to be promoted and, in the case of deficits, help for self-help is to be offered. In this way, dignity and self-determination can be preserved. True to the motto: “In good hands!”
