Eleganz Bildungsplattform e.V.

Eleganz Bildungsplattform was founded as a migrant self-organization in Osnabrück in 1996. Today there are projects in Osnabrück, Münster and Diepholz. The main-focus of the organization has originally been adult education, particularly the learning and teaching of German for migrants. In recent years the organization has expanded its portfolio and offers auxiliary classes for school children as well as afternoon acitivities for children and adolescents. The third branch are social projects for people living in the respective local communities in the cities. These are for example communial cooking and eating projects or the provision of our facilities for own-initiative events or projects from the community. The main goal of all of these activities is to facilitate a feeling of mutual understanding and appreciation for each other among the community members, regardless of their age, gender, religion or ethnicity.
