About Organization
Europe en Hainaut's main objective is to strengthen the connection between the European Union, its citizens, and local stakeholders. Our missions are structured around the following objectives: • Informing and educating European citizens • Making the European Union’s actions more accessible in Hauts-de-France and Hainaut • Acting as a local bridge between European citizens, local actors, and European institutions • Promoting exchanges and partnerships between Hainaut and other European regions • Providing information, guidance, and networking opportunities for associations, local authorities, and businesses regarding European funding and projects • Facilitating access to European funding for local stakeholders to support local development Our organisation is structured into three main divisions: • A management division for the European Social Fund+ (ESF+) as an intermediary body • An animation division, labeled Europe Direct, which offers public activities about the EU and project development • A projects division, which includes: • A project on European citizenship for vulnerable people • A project on the Just Transition Fund, promoting inclusion through public procurement • A project on European and international mobility for young people in inclusion with any type of barriers
