Aydin Valiligi

Aydın Governorship is a Local Public Body which is responsible for the whole city of public institution at the highest level of our province. Aydın Governorship EU and Foreign Relations Bureau is responsible for all projects planned and implemented about in education, youth and sports, forestry and water affairs, culture and tourism, local health, environment, public security and civil society projects etc. The Governorship of Aydın, which has Eurodesk accreditation, carries out information and training activities for the youth to benefit from the education and internship opportunities provided by the EU.Our main aims are informing and raising awareness of young people about the European Union and its educational programs. Our city has a very high young population. For this reason, we have developed a youth action plan in collaboration with the Youth and Sports Directorate, the Directorate of National Education, Aydın Adnan Menderes University and other civil society organizations that work directly with young people.In that plan we are focusing on to actively support and enable young people's participation in society and its decision-making processes, to create opportunities for youth employment, self-employment, and entrepreneurship,to guide and assist local institutions in developing projects that secure EU and national funding for social andfinancial development.
