About Organization
Miteinander Teilen VoG has been active in the German-speaking Community (DG) since 1984, where it is recognised as an adult education organisation. At a national level, we are part of the two sister church organisations, Entraide et Fraternité and Action Vivre Ensemble. Within this framework, we deliver numerous training programmes on behalf of the Catholic Church and run awareness-raising campaigns in the following areas: Poverty Combating social exclusion Promoting sustainable development In Belgium, and particularly in the DG, as well as in the countries of the Global South. We also support social projects and initiatives that combat poverty and marginalisation in Belgium, Africa, Asia, and Latin America. To this end, we organise two large-scale, DG-wide awareness-raising campaigns every year as part of the Lent and Advent initiatives. During these campaigns, we call for donations and offer information events. Our programmes are aimed at educators (from kindergarten to university level), adult associations, youth groups, parish leaders, and committed citizens in the DG who are interested in the aforementioned topics and want to learn more, find information, or get personally involved.
